The camera and the water
Buy a pelicase !!! these boxes are really worth the money. they
are waterproof and crash-proofen.
it's a good idea to put some Silica Gel in the box, because the
gel reduces the water in the box.
before you open the box, try to dry your hands (warm rocks or wind
are good for this)
Filming when it's wet'n'cold
use both hands to hold the camera and if it is possible put your
ellbows on the ground to build a 'human' tripod
build a tripod with your hands
How to catch the action ...
well - first of all. practise practise and again practise.
But there some things to remember :
- move your body to the water
- shot every person from a different position. this will make
the video more attractive
- talk to the sportsman what he wants to try so you know where
and when the cool stuff will happen
